Michel Sarfaty (1971) is one of the three founders of our firm and is in charge of the section real estate.

After obtaining his law degree at the University of Amsterdam, Michel was admitted to the bar in 1998. After five years of practice he felt ready to establish his own firm.

From the beginning of his career, Michel has specialized in real estate, more particularly in sale and purchase, commercial lease contracts (landlord and tenant), construction law, project development and general contract law in relation to real estate.

In 2006 Michel finished the specialized course “real estate law” by the Association of Real Estate lawyers, which course was aimed at providing thorough and specialized knowledge and skills concerning lease contracts and the law of leasing of both commercial and residential real estate. Michel is a member of the Association of Real Estate lawyers, the Association of Real Estate legal professionals and the Association for Construction law.

Michel’s practice consists of advising and litigating on behalf of commercial and private real estate companies with a national real estate portfolio, consisting of shops, offices and residences. Michel recently assisted the entrepreneurs in a large Amsterdam shopping mall who were forced to evacuate due to construction failures and successfully assisted them in acquiring compensation.
