Isabel van den Broek successfully completed her master’s degree in Private Law Practice at the University of Amsterdam in 2025. Her thesis examined the extent to which the restrictions imposed on landlords by the Affordable Rent Act are legally justifiable under Article 1 of the First Protocol to the ECHR. During her studies, she interned in various positions, including the real estate department of a law firm, where she gained valuable practical experience in real estate law.
Isabel has been working at Sarfaty Advocaten since November 2025. At this firm, she focuses primarily on the purchase and sale, as well as the leasing and letting of real estate, and the general law of obligations in the real estate context.
