Thomas Hovers (1977) joined our firm in 2006. Thomas studied law at the University of Amsterdam. After his graduation, Thomas was admitted to the bar in 2003 and started to work as a lawyer for a large law firm in Amsterdam, where he worked in the corporate law section and in the real estate section.
In our firm Thomas focuses on real estate, including transactions (sale and purchase), leasing, the law of neighboring properties, construction law, general law of contract concerning real estate and litigation. In these matters he represents both landlords and tenants as well as the purchasers and sellers of real estate.
In 2012 Thomas finished the specialized course “real estate law” by the Association of Real Estate lawyers, which course was aimed at providing thorough and specialized knowledge and skills concerning lease contracts and the law of leasing of both commercial and residential real estate.
