Léon Graal (1967) has been a partner of our firm since 2006 and has specialized in corporate law.

After graduating from Erasmus University in Rotterdam (1992) Léon worked a.o. as a trainee with a large law firm in Seattle, Washington. In 1993 he was admitted to the bar in Amsterdam and started to work for one of the larger commercial law firms in Amsterdam. Until 2006, Léon worked in the corporate law department, where he was a.o. involved in several large international bankruptcy cases. Further he acted as counsel in several larger inquiries by the enterprise chamber at the court of appeals in Amsterdam.

In 1997 Léon took over the family business in the chemical and oil industry. Until 2005 Léon combined managing this company with his legal practice. Léon has broad and ample experience in corporate law and corporate litigation. Besides that he has specialized on law of contract, director’s liability, corporate liability law and private equity.

In 2005 Léon successfully finished the “Grotius” specialization course “corporate litigation”. He is a member of the Association for Corporate Litigation in The Netherlands.
