Michel Sarfaty (1971) is one of the three founding partners of our law firm and is in charge of the Real-Estate section.
Michel studied Dutch law at the University of Amsterdam and was subsequently sworn in as a lawyer in 1998. After 5 years of practicing law, he was ready to establish his own law firm.
Right from the start of his career, Michel has specialized in real-estate law. More in particular, he focuses on the purchase/sale and lease of commercial real estate, construction law, property development, as well as on the impact of general contract law on real estate.
The real-estate practice of Michel is all about the provision of legal advice to and litigation for investors and property developers with nation-wide property portfolios consisting of retail space, offices, business property and homes.
Michel is a member of the Dutch Association of Landlord & Tenant-Law Lawyers (“VHA”), the Dutch Association of Legal Experts on Real-Estate Law (“VVJ”), the Dutch Association of Legal Experts on Apartment Rights (“JvA”) and the Dutch Construction-Law Association (“VBR”).

This registration comes with the obligation to obtain ten CPE credits per calendar year for each registered key area of law, in compliance with the standards of the Bar Association of the Netherlands.
